I’m a bit sick of commentary on fictional relationships, especially queer ones, where people go “Oh, I hope they don’t get together, they would have such a toxic relationship” or “That won’t work because it’d be a bad choice for one/either of them”.

I don’t see the point in arguing over whether a fictional romance or fling (especially between consenting adults) should happen or not based on some idea of what’d be a good, moral relationship.
